— Arundhati RoyHistorically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew. This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next.
We can choose to walk through it, dragging the carcasses of our prejudice and hatred, our avarice, our data banks and dead ideas, our dead rivers and smoky skies behind us.
Or we can walk through lightly, with little luggage, ready to imagine another world. And ready to fight for it

YOU ARE INVITED TO IMAGINETHEFUTURE
We’re off track for halving emissions by 2030 and actively regenerating nature. It’s time to change that, achieving a just transition. We must direct the positive energy inside us to reshape our future. But first, we must believe it is possible.
To help with this, we’ve created an imaginarium! It’s been inspired by a series of expertly facilitated conversations, covering everything from the future of finance to the future of health.
In these conversations, participants were invited to paint a picture of the future we need – to really envision it – and delineate the critical steps necessary to get there. Their ideas and visions have been harnessed into an inspirational Prelude for a Great Regeneration that you can access immediately below. We hope the Prelude inspires you to continue the work of imagining and then manifesting the future.

Prelude to a
great regeneration
A story about how, by being kinder and braver, we can turn decisively towards restoring our planet and all who depend on it.

I want to
Imaginethefuture

IMAGINATION:
ABUNDANT,
LIMITLESS,
RENEWABLE.
As Nobel physicist Ilya Prigogine understood: the future is not so much determined by what we do in the present as our image of the future determines the actions we take now.
If we can't imagine a way out of the climate crisis, it just can't happen. It’s time to take urgent action on climate change and unleash a GREAT REGENERATION.
How do you
IMAGINETHEFUTURE?
